Youth Selection Events

Registration will CLOSE on Friday, August 28th, at 10 PM. All climbers must be registered by that time to be eligible to compete. 

Alaskan USA climbing competitors can qualify to the Regionals Championships events through the Alaskan Regionals Selection Events or through attending Qualification Events in Regions 11 and 12 (Oregon and Washington). The bouldering event will be an onsight format, detailed in the and in our Rules tab in the event details.

The top 2 or 3 finishers* in each category will qualify for Bouldering Regionals, which will be hosted in Oregon or Washington in the spring (date and location to be announced by USA Climbing). For those who qualify, Regionals details can be found on the USA Climbing . Qualification spots will not transfer if an athlete chooses not to attend so please only compete in the AKSE if you are committed to traveling to Regionals in the spring.
