Alaska Rock Gym offers a discounted monthly membership for the following groups! You must provide the appropriate verification upon your first visit after you sign up, and once per year during our Discounted Members Audit to retain your discount status.

Student: The student discount is offered to full time students only. You must provide a current, full time class schedule as verification (12 credit hours or similar). Student IDs are not allowed.

Military: Active or veterans! Plan on bringing your government issued Military ID for verification. Military spouses or dependants are not eligible.

Wisdom Discount: Folks aged 60+. Your ID for birthday verification will suffice!

First Responders: EMS, Paramedic, Firefighters, and Police. Your badge if it reflects the current year or a current paystub.

Youth memberships are for people aged 17 and below. These memberships can be purchased on their own, but your children and their supervising adult must adhere to all Alaska Rock Gym youth and youth supervision policies posted on our website.

Youth memberships will be subject to immediate termination with no refunds if the youth policy rules are not followed.

Don't have your own climbing gear yet? Are your kids going to outgrow those expensive shoes too quickly? Borrow our shoes, harness and/or chalk bag upon check in with this add-on for just an extra $30 per member per month.

Don't need it anymore? No problem! Simply fill out a Membership Change Request Form and cancel just the add-on.
