Learn to Lead
Students learn the basics of prudent and efficient lead climbing and how to provide a solid lead belay. Learn to Lead is 2 two hour classes held on consecutive Tuesday and Thursday nights. After attending, students will have all the knowledge and skills to take the Alaska Rock Gym lead test!
Learn to Lead Prerequisites:
- Participants must be at least 16 years of age
- Must possess a current top rope certification at the Alaska Rock Gym
- Can demonstrate efficent top rope technique
- Can comfortably climb 5.10
Meeting these prerequisites is the participant's responsibility. Refunds will not be issued.
