Pumpkin Pump Youth Redpoint Round
PUMPKIN PUMP IS BACK!
The Pumpkin Pump is a tiered redpoint bouldering competition - meaning you get to try a variety of boulders over the course of the event
and see how many you can complete. Come dressed to impress and potentially win the costume contest! We'll have food, fun, prizes and
so much stoke it'll make you sick (or maybe that's from all the candy?). Compete among friends and peers! Each category will have
a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner.
The Youth Redpoint Round is from 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM on Friday, October 23rd, and Finals for Youth Advanced (Top 5 competitors in each Advanced category) will be at 7:00 PM on Saturday, October 24th, directly before Adult Open Finals. Podiums for Youth Novice and Youth Intermediate will be awarded on Friday evening.
Based on your flash grade, choose which category* suits you best.
Youth Categories**:
Novice: Flash V1+
Intermediate: Flash V3+
Advanced: Flash V5+
Non-Binary: All levels combined
Para: All levels combined
*We must have a minimum of 10 registrations for each category by October 1st to run your category. If we do not receive 10 registrations by October 1st, you will be contacted to move to your next choice category.
**Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced categories are split into male/female divisions.
Spectator or competitor tickets will be required to enter the event. All Youth participants receive one complimentary Spectator Ticket for their Supervising Adult.
Not sure if you've signed a new waiver in the past year? Sign one now to save time and skip the line! Remember - every beating heart needs a waiver whether you're climbing or just spectating.
If grandma, uncle, little brother or sister are coming to cheer on your youth competitor, they need a valid waiver!
